I am a PhD student at the University of Florida, co-advised by Robert Guralnick and Arthur Porto. My research centers on poison and venom biology. I also study the evolution of color and the biogeography of traits, examining how features such as color, pattern and chemical defense are distributed across species and landscapes, and the evolutionary processes that underlie them.
My interests are broad, and most of my work is computational, drawing on large image collections and open biodiversity data, with citizen science being central to this approach.
